Brian Bobka

Overview

Brian Bobka is an associate at Spears Manning & Martini with experience handling matters before the U.S. District Court of Connecticut, the Second Circuit, and the Connecticut state courts. His work includes legal research, motion practice, discovery, trial preparation, and appellate matters. Brian first joined the firm as a summer associate in 2025 and returned as a law clerk in 2026 while completing his J.D. at Quinnipiac University School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude with a concentration in Criminal Law and Advocacy.

Prior to joining Spears Manning & Martini, Brian was accepted into the Department of Justice Summer Honors Program for the Office of General Counsel for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, worked as a judicial extern for the State of Connecticut, and worked as a legal intern for both the Quinnipiac Law Veterans Clinic and the Environment Section of the Office of the Connecticut Attorney General.

Before attending law school, Brian served six years in the U.S. Air Force as a staff sergeant and aerospace crew chief, supervising aircraft operations and leading personnel. Brian received multiple honors during his military service, including the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, and AETC Top Graduate Award.
